We are pleased to present the 26th edition (July-December 2025) of Verbum et Lingua: Didáctica, lengua y cultura, now in a continuous publication format. This issue brings together research exploring language as a tool for social cohesion, identity, and pedagogical transformation.

Identity, Society, and Politics

The contributions in this section analyze the social dimension of language through several lenses:

  • Inclusion and Discourse: A study on religious translation in Mexican Sign Language (LSM) and an analysis of critical polyphony in literature addressing forced disappearance in Mexico.

  • Policies and Rights: A review of linguistic repertoires as a form of epistemic justice and an analysis of integration policies for non-Spanish speaking migrants in Uruguay.
