Introduction and Call for Papers

The Organizing Committee of the V International Conference of Language Teaching Educators at the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla and the journal Verbum et Lingua: Didáctica, Lengua y Cultura at the University of Guadalajara (UdeG) invite the academic and student community to contribute to Issue 30, titled:

"Language Teacher Education: Interinstitutional Perspectives" (January–June 2027),

with an academic submission framed within the journal's thematic areas. Articles are accepted in Spanish, English, French, German, or any other language.

The International Conference of Language Teaching Educators seeks to promote the exchange and discussion of experiences and research findings regarding current challenges in the field, aiming to influence decision-making for the implementation of language policies concerning teacher education and the professionalization of language educators.

Verbum et Lingua: Didáctica, Lengua y Cultura is a digital, indexed, and peer-reviewed open-science academic journal edited by faculty members of the Department of Modern Languages at the University Center for Social Sciences and Humanities of the University of Guadalajara. It specializes in the study of languages from linguistic, pedagogical, and cultural approaches, as well as related fields.

Verbum et Lingua operates under a Diamond Open Access model (Zero APCs): there are no charges for authors to submit, process, or publish their articles. Texts are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license.

We adhere to the highest ethical standards in publishing (COPE). All manuscripts will be analyzed using iThenticatesoftware to rule out undue similarity and plagiarism. Furthermore, authors are strictly required to declare any use of generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) as an aid in their writing or analysis process, assuming 100% human responsibility for the final document. No AI tool can be credited as an author.
