About the Journal

Verbum et Lingua: Didáctica, Lengua y Cultura is a peer-reviewed digital journal published by the Department of Modern Languages at the Centro Universitario de Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades, University of Guadalajara. It is a specialized platform for the study of language through linguistic, didactic, cultural, and related interdisciplinary perspectives.

The journal follows a continuous publication model with two issues per year (January–June and July–December). It publishes original and unpublished research articles, theoretical reflections, pedagogical interventions, as well as book reviews and interviews focused on language teaching, linguistics, and cultural studies. Submissions are accepted in German, Spanish, French, English, and Italian, and studies on other languages are also welcome.

Verbum et Lingua is the result of institutional collaboration and the collective work of scholars and researchers from the University of Guadalajara and renowned national and international universities.

All manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. Please consult our [Editorial Guidelines] for full submission requirements. Contributions must be submitted exclusively through our [official website].
