Guest Editor: Rodrigo Parra Gutiérrez, M.A.

In this special issue of Verbum et Lingua: Didáctica, Lengua y Cultura, the journal is pleased to collaborate with the organizing committee of the 8th Languages in Contact Conference, organized by the Coordination of Applied Linguistics and the Center for Indigenous Languages Studies of Nayarit (CELINAY), both affiliated with the Autonomous University of Nayarit.

About the Journal

Verbum et Lingua: Didáctica, Lengua y Cultura is a Diamond Open Access scientific journal published by the University of Guadalajara. Its objective is to disseminate research on languages from linguistic, didactic, and cultural perspectives, aimed at researchers, teacher trainers, and graduate students.

We publish original, unpublished research articles, theoretical reflections, and pedagogical interventions, as well as reviews and interviews. To ensure excellence and methodological rigor, all academic contributions undergo a strict double-blind peer review.

Our publication is issued biannually (January-June and July-December) and is the result of international academic cooperation. Therefore, we accept contributions in German, Spanish, French, English, and Italian (without excluding the study of other languages).

Submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under simultaneous review in other journals or platforms. As a Diamond journal, Verbum et Lingua does not charge authors any fees for processing or publishing their texts (Zero APCs). Please consult our Author Guidelines and submit your work exclusively through our website.
