Dear readers,

We are pleased to present the twenty-sixth edition (June–December 2025) of Verbum et Lingua: Didactics, Language and Culture, now published under a continuous publication model. Staying true to its international and multilingual spirit, this issue brings together contributions from authors in Mexico and abroad, written in Spanish, French and English, covering a wide range of topics in linguistics, didactics, and cultural studies.

This issue opens with the article First Notions for Developing a Theory of Critical Polyphony and Its Configuration: An Application Example in Antígona González by Sara Uribe, by Ana Gabriela Vázquez de la Torre (University of Guadalajara), which offers an innovative perspective on literary analysis through the lens of critical polyphony.
